Stewardship

Stewardship in the context of a 10 million-acre landscape that involves Canada, the US and First Nations is multi-dimensional. Many communities, businesses, government agencies, education centers, individuals, non-profit organizations, and foundations are involved in conservation partnership activities and projects that foster a healthy environment, livable communities, and vibrant local economies in the Crown of the Continent. Each partner has their own unique definition of stewardship. The purpose of this website is to promote regional collaboration in the Crown of the Continent by serving as an information resource about the regional stewardship network. On this website, our working definition of "regional stewardship" is public-private partnerships efforts that foster a healthy environment, livable communities, and vibrant economies in the Crown of the Continent.
